Event Planning
Having worked with Cowrie on lots of marketing and planning related project where we facilitate workshops and meetings we were asked to help with the event to ensure the marketing was right and to add a bit of wow factor. The slight complication was that the event was to be held on a Mersey ferry during a cruise out into the mouth of the Mersey estuary to see the Burbo Bank Offshore Wind Farm.
We worked closely with the event organisers on the marketing in an advisory role. Our key contribution was to use our contacts in the music festival business to secure a great young band for the evenings entertainment. The day took some careful planning in order to get the band (The Sound of Guns) onboard early in the day to do sound checks before the evening guests arrived on the boat. Thanks go to Nature Bureau, The Mersey Ferry Co. and Sound of Guns for working so well to get it all delivered.
The results:
Great feed back to the event organisers from the clients and guests.
Web Strategy
The Leadout Project have worked with Cowrie Ltd for over 2 years on various facilitated workshops to build top level strategy, business plans and more recently the Web site strategy. In this particular case we don’t provide the Web site services for Cowrie but work closely with them and their Web site provider to ensure the strategy that we helped build is reflected in the Web site.
This way of working is quite usual in The Leadout Project as all Web sites we build for our customers start with the clients strategy and business plans long before we actually start to build content. So for us it’s great to be able to help a client translate their strategy and organisational objectives into something that a Web site provider can design and deliver for them.
