Welcome Ghosts will be playing a rare live gig at Audio in brighton on 3oth September 2010.

For most people this will be the first time they’ll have had a chance to see the band live since they formed a few months ago. They write all their own material and we at The Leadout Project are proud to have worked with them on strategy and planning. Yes, even a band needs a business plan just like any other company and industries don’t come much more competitive than the music business.

Good luck to the band and get yourself to Audio if you want a great night of music.

I was asked recently how to increase your followers on twitter. Most of it is common sense stuff but I Googled around to find some more ideas and thought I’d share them with Leadout customers and partners. The link to The Social Media Guide is at the bottom of this news post.

Leadout for Forth Array web site

The Leadout Project have just completed the Forth Array Offshore Wind Farm web site.

The work involved working closely with Fred. Olsen Renewables Ltd in the UK as well as ensuring there was a seamless link to the rest of the Fred. Olsen corporate web site. The Leadout Project undertook the whole process from site design, graphic production and the total build of the web site.

The project management team for the new Wind Farm are able to edit all areas of the web site as well as adding up to date news to keep stake holders informed of progress as the Wind Farm is designed built and brought on stream to produce renewable power. The whole web site build took 3 weeks from start to finish and came in on time and on budget.

COWRIE plays out to the Sound of Guns

The Leadout Project recently helped COWRIE Ltd organise a fantastic thank you event for all their stake holders across the wind industry.

As part of the celebrations aboard a Mersey Ferry called The Royal Daffodil, the up and coming band Sound of Guns played a private set on board whilst we visited the Burbo Bank Offshore wind farm.

Feedback on the event was great with lots of networking going on and a fantastic opportunity to see The Sound of Guns on the very day they released their first album appropriately named “What came from Fire”.

Leadout have worked with COWRIE over the last 2 years helping form their strategy, business plans and marketing. We wish everyone involved with delivering Offshore wind around the UK the very best for the future.
